Boise City Airport (FAA LID: 17K) is in Cimarron County, Oklahoma, four miles north of the City of Boise City, which owns it.[1]

History

The 1927 trans-Atlantic flight of Charles Lindbergh led to development of municipal airports in Oklahoma[2]

Facilities

Boise City Airport covers 107 acres (0.43 km2) and has a 4,211 ft (1,284 m) x 60 ft (18 m) runway.[3]

In the year ending June 15, 2009 the airport had 3500 general aviation aircraft operations.[4] 15 aircraft were then based at the airport: 13 single-engine and two multi-engine.[4]
