Bill March (born 4 February 1937) is an American male former weightlifter, who competed in the middle heavyweight class and represented United States at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 1962 World Weightlifting Championships in the 90 kg category.[1]

The American physician John Bosley Ziegler who originally developed the anabolic steroid Methandrostenolone (Dianabol, DBOL).[2][3] pioneered its athletic use as an aid to muscle growth by bodybuilders, administering it to Bill March in 1959 when he was the physician to the U.S. Weightlifting team.[4] It was banned by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Controlled Substances Act.
