Bernard Teissier (French pronunciation: [tɛsje]; b. 1945[1]) is a French mathematician and a member of the Nicolas Bourbaki group. His research interests include commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.
Teissier attained his doctorate from Paris Diderot University in 1973, under supervision of Heisuke Hironaka.[2] He was a member of Nicolas Bourbaki.[3] In 2012 he became a fellow of the American Mathematical Society.[4]
