Beornrad (died 796) was the 3rd abbot of St Willibrord's Abbey, Echternach. He lived in the second half of the 8th century and was a friend of Alcuin, at the court of Charlemagne, and of Willehad, missionary bishop of Bremen, whom he sheltered during the wars between the Franks and Widukind.[1]
