Bayside is the second album by American rock band Bayside.
Release
"Devotion and Desire" was released to radio on July 26, 2005.[1] The album was released August 23, 2005 through Victory Records.[2]
While touring drummer John "Beatz" Holohan was killed in an auto accident.[3] In February and March 2006, the group supported Smoking Popes on their tour of the U.S.[4] In April, the band supported Protest the Hero on their Canadian tour, dubbed Tour and Loathing.[5] In May and June, the band went on the Lions Tigers and Bears Tour, with The Sleeping, I Am the Avalanche, Hit the Lights and Halifax. For this tour, bassist Nick Ghanbarian re-joined the band.[6] In between dates on this tour, the band played a number of in-store performances at music stores.[7] In August, the band went on a brief tour alongside Spitalfield and Valencia.[8]
