Sir Basil Smallpeice KCVO (1906-1992) was a British accountant who became a senior director at British companies including BOAC, Cunard and Lonrho.^[2]

He was knighted as a commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) on 10 June 1961, having helped with provision of flights for the Queen.^[1] He then advised Her Majesty's Household from 1964 to 1980, introducing modern methods of budgetary control.^[1]
