Ballindooley, officially Ballindooly (Irish: Baile an Dúlaigh),[1] is a village in County Galway, Ireland. It is north of Galway city and in the parish of Castlegar. It has a fine castle though at least half of it was built and refurbished about ten years ago. The village itself, is just off the Galway City to Headford road. Ballindooley Lake, which is sometimes referenced as Ballindooley Lough, is quite small and is behind the Castle.
