Baharlu (ethnic group)

The Bahārlou, also spelled Baharloo, Baharlooe (Persian: بهارلو), are a Turkic ethnic group living in Hamadan, Fars, Kerman, Azarbaijan and Khorasan in Iran.[1]

The Baharlou was one of the Qezelbash tribes. Many Baharlous live in the district of Darab, home to the army of Darius the great. There are also a number of Baharlous which in the 14th century settled down in areas around Shahrekord in Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, they got heavily mixed with the Bakhtiaris and Qashqais.
