Ashton Michael (born July 4, 1982 in Los Angeles) is an American fashion designer and celebrity wardrobe stylist.[1][2][3][4]

Career

In 2002 at age 19 Ashton started his first company with Marina Toybina GLAZA.[5]

Ashton Michael label was formed in 2005.

In 2010 Ashton showcased a green collection for NYFW. The spring collection was a collaborating with Rethink Sustainable Solutions Group. All fabrics used to produce the collection were made from recycled water bottles, bamboo, and coconut.[6][7]

In 2013 Ashton went back to the east coast to show his Fall/ Winter 13 collection at Style 360 presented by Elle Magazine.[8]

In October 2013 Ashton shut down the streets of Hollywood and built a runway in the middle of it for his show in LA Fashion Week.[9][10]

Ashton Michael has designed for American Idol,[11][12] Will.i.am,[13] Usher,[14] Nicki Minaj,[15] Chris Brown,[16] Cher,[17] Justin Bieber,[18][19]R. Kelly,[20] and Pitbull,[21] Samuel Larsen.[22]

In 2013 Ashton Michael appeared as a guest judge on America's Next Top Model[23] and RuPaul's Drag U,[24] as well as, a makeover consultant on the E! show Opening Act.

Ashton Michael presented his spring/summer 2014 collection, Black Cross. Embracing a black and white color palette, East LA street style comes together with Hasidic Orthodox Jewish references for a collision of inspirations.[25][26]

In 2015 Ashton Michael created a black and pink army for Beyoncé & Nicki Minaj TIDAL performance.[27][28][29]
