Anton Koslov Mayr

Anton Koslov Mayr is a Russian–American photographer and author.

Koslov studied film and philosophy at NYU and Harvard and holds a Ph.D. in history. Koslov-Mayr is known for his art criticism[1] and photography[2] and worked on film projects with American artists Richard Dailey,[3] Hilton McConnico, and Mark Boswell. Koslov-Mayr and Boswell collaborated on a number of projects,[4] the most notorious being "The United Nations is Decadent and Depraved", shown in New York and in Moscow in 2009.[5][6] Between 1997 and 2008 Koslov Mayr thought at Parsons School of Design and currently holds a position of associate professor at the American Graduate School of Arcadia University.[7] In 2006 he created the Artout project. Between 2011 and 2015 he was creative director and publisher of The Russian Riviera magazine along with a fellow artist Guela Patiashvili.[8]
