Anna Camner
Anna Camner (born 1977) is a Swedish contemporary artist, known for small, intense and meticulously executed oil paintings on dark themes.[1][2] Her paintings shows processes of decay, often in a dramatic or violent manner.[3] She is represented at the Stellan Holm Gallery and Faggionato Fine Art Gallery. She received an MFA at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Sweden in 2003.
Camner's first solo exhibition in 2006 at Natalia Goldin Gallery in Stockholm was favourably reviewed in Svenska Dagbladet.[4] In 2008, she had another solo exhibition at the same gallery, which was reviewed in Svenska Dagbladet[5] and Expressen[6]
Camner's work is also represented at the UBS Art Collection, Swedish Art Council and Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall, in Stockholm.[7]
In 2012, Camner published a picture book, with the title The Sick Rose.[8]
