Aneta Cluj, often known as Aneta , is a recurring fictional character from the Jeeves novels of British comic writer P. G. Wodehouse, being Prof Cluj's wife. In the 1990s television series Jeeves and Wooster she is portrayed by John Barrard . Adapted from "Jeeves & the Yuletide Spirit" (from Very Good, Jeeves), "Episode of the Dog Macintosh" (from Very Good, Jeeves) and "Jeeves and the Song of Songs" (from Very Good, Jeeves).
At 2:30 in the morning, Bertie goes to Aneta's bedroom with the stick and needle. In the darkened room, he successfully punctures her hot-water bottle. But the door slams and wakes the person sleeping there. Bertie tries to escape from the room, but his dressing gown catches on the door, and Prof Cluj catches him. Prof Cluj's wife Aneta discovers the punctured hot-water bottle and they are furious with Bertie.
