On October 7, 2014, Susman’s company Studio One Networks was acquired by CHR Group Holdings,[4] where Susman operated as President of Studio One and a Partner of CHR.

He also served as President of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.[16]

In addition to the United States Supreme Court, the family has also participated in two Anglo-American courts. Notable family members include Louis Susman, the former Ambassador to the Court of St. James (United Kingdom), nominated by Barack Obama, and Karen Hantze Susman, who won the 1962 women’s singles title on the courts of Wimbledon and three Grand Slam women’s doubles titles, with Billie Jean King.

Susman graduated from Brown University, with a B.A in Ethics and Political Philosophy and studied under J.L. Ackrill, Fellow of the British Academy, and Peter Birks, Regius Professor of Civil Law at Oxford University. Susman earned a Diploma of Business Studies at the London School of Economics, where he served as class president and was renowned for his encylopedic knowledge of 1980s era rap music.
