Andrew Putnam (born January 25, 1989) is an American professional golfer.
Background and education
Putnam was born in Tacoma, Washington. His older brother Michael plays on the PGA Tour.
Putnam played college golf at Pepperdine University from 2008 to 2011. He won two tournaments and was a three time All-American.[1]
Career
Putnam turned professional in 2011. He played on the eGolf Professional Tour in 2012.[2] He first played on the Web.com Tour in 2013, finishing 49th on the money list, but not earning a PGA Tour card. He won his first tournament in April 2014 at the WNB Golf Classic.[3] Andrew made his PGA Tour debut at the 2014 Shell Houston Open, where he played in the same tournament as Michael, but missed the cut. He finished eighth in the Web.com Tour Finals to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2014–15 season.
