Character biography
Ally was the wife of Vince (who is now deceased), mother of Romeo and Gigi and younger sister of Nat, who is emerging from the fog of being a missus and mum for the past 15 years. Somewhere in that time Ally has lost track of herself. Now she's bored with her mundane life and looking for love in all wrong places, namely in bizarre chats with a Russian cosmonaut and the dim glimmer between her and her husband's best pal, Gabriel. Ally was always the tame sister, but with the arrival of her firebrand older sibling Nat in season one, the old sparks of charisma and spunk are coming to the fore and a moral crossroad awaits.[1]
In season two, Ally, reeling from the death of her husband, moved house in an attempt to start afresh. She also had a one-night stand with a man whom she met at a party, after some encouragement from Nat.[2]
