Algology (medicine)

Algology (from the Greek άλγος, algos, "pain") is the medical treatment of pain as practiced in Greece and Turkey. The Hellenic Society of Algology[1] and the Turkish Algology-Pain Society[2] are the relevant local bodies affiliated to the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
