Alexandra DiNovi

Alexandra Di Novi (born November 7, 1989) is an American actress. She won Best Actress in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival for The Perfect Girl and Purity.[1]

Early life

DiNovi was born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois the daughter of Domenica Piragine, a former drama teacher, and Vincent Louis DiTommaso, a class-action lawyer. She is of Italian descent.[2] DiNovi played the Featured Dancer role in the motion picture, The Break-Up.[3]

Acting

Television

DiNovi first appeared in television on several episodes of "Prison Break". in 2005.

DiNovi appeared in commercials, beginning with advertisements for Budweiser, Gateway, and Chicago's Pizza. Her first commercial for Budweiser aired on the Super Bowl in 2007. She booked two pilots for HBO and one for ABC Family called "Pretty Tough". The ABC Family pilot, where DiNovi played a high school soccer player aired on Rogers' Network in Canada in 2010. DiNovi is an outstanding soccer player. She displayed this natural ability in six episodes of "Pretty Tough"

She appeared as "Lucy, the Cigarette Girl" on one episode of "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" in 2009.

Films

DiNovi has appeared in three full-length major motion pictures: including "The Break-Up" "The Express" (she played a Cheerleader and "The Strip" She has appeared in over a dozen full-length independent films, having her directorial, production and writing debut in "Purity: A Dark Film" (2010).[4]

Awards

DiNovi won Best Actress in the New York Independent Film & Video Festival 2010. She also won Best Film Noir at the Beverly Hills New Media Festival in 2011.

Singing

Alexandra DiNovi is a resident performer at the "House of Blues" "Sunset" She has performed numerous shows at the House of Blues on Sunset. She has written one original album entitled "Hazel November" and has performed at "Loyola Marymount" on several occasions. During college, at "Loyola Marymount" she was so popular for her music that the school newspaper published articles about her and compared her to "Coldplay" and "Britney Spears" a combination of the two with inspiration from "Dave Matthews Band"

Alexandra took professional vocal coach lessons in "Chicago" Her parents are very supportive of her "singing" and "acting"

Modeling

Alexandra has been modeling for "G-Star Raw" since 2005. She was asked to be a brand representative and first approached about the brand on Melrose in Los Angeles. She continues to wear, support, and represent "G-Star Raw"
