Juan Alexander Campos Hernández (born May 8, 1980 in La Morita, San Miguel) is a Salvadoran football player.
Club career
Nicknamed el Murciélago (the Bat), Campos started his career at Third Division side Los Andes, then had a spell at Jocoro before making his top division debut for Águila in 2003.[2] He immediately became the league top scorer with 13 goals in his first season. He joined Alianza in 2008 only to leave them for Firpo after inexplicably failing to turn up for training with Alianza. In 2010 he signed up with Atlético Balboa. For the Apertura 2011, he signed with Once Municipal.
International career
Campos made his debut for El Salvador in a February 2003 UNCAF Nations Cup match against Panama and has earned a total of 23 caps, scoring no goals. He has represented his country in only 1 FIFA World Cup qualification match[3] and played at the 2003[4] and 2005 UNCAF Nations Cups and at the 2003[5] and 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cups.[6]
His final international game was a June 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup match against the United States.
