The Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons is responsible for the registration, regulation, and discipline of physicians in Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1906 by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.[1] Its inaugural meeting was October 18, 1906.[2]
Mission & Vision
Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons is led by the mission statement of serving the public by guiding medical profession. The college supports the doctors by ensuring their competencies, maintaining collaboration and compliance and also advocates for public health policy, especially for the people of Alberta.[3]
