Albert Bunjaki (born 18 June 1971) is a Swedish-Albanian football manager, and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Kosovo national football team.

History

Bunjaki was appointed coach of the Kosovo national football team on 18 July 2009,[1] replacing Kujtim Shala. He was previously assistant coach of Swedish football team Kalmar FF.

Real surname

In an interview for the Sportske novosti. Bunjaki said that my real surname is Bunjaku. However, 25 years ago I had to change my surname, cause was my desertion from the Yugoslav army and for this desertion am convicted to 20 years in prison in absentia and to escape from imprisonment and after arrival in Sweden. I changed the surname from Bunjaku in Bunjaki.[2]
