Alan Bassham (3 October 1933 – 1982) was an English professional football right back who played in the Football League for Brentford.
Club career
Brentford
Bassham began his career in the youth team at Division Two side Brentford. He made his debut at age 19 in a 1–1 draw with Stoke City on 19 August 1953.[2] After Brentford's relegation to the Division Three South for the 1954–55 season, Bassham broke into the team, making 17 appearances.[3] He gradually lost his place and played mostly in the reserves,[4] making his final appearance for the first team in September 1957.[3] Bassham made 45 appearances during his five years with Brentford and departed the club in 1958.[3]
