Al-Lal Mohamed Amar (born 25 December 1957), known as Álex, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a defender.
Football career
Born in Melilla, Álex played his entire career in Andalusia, successively representing Real Betis, Recreativo de Huelva and Xerez CD and amassing La Liga totals of 206 games and two goals over the course of eight seasons, all with the first club.
In the 1991 summer, after Xerez's relegation from Segunda División, he retired professionally from the game aged nearly 34.
