Airds Castle
Airds Castle is a ruined castle near Carradale, Kintyre, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The castle held a position on the summit of a rock outcrop between Carradale harbour and the bay of Port Righ.
History
King James IV of Scotland fortified the castle of Ardcardle (Airds) in c1490's.
