Aditya Vikram Sengupta (Bengali: আদিত্য বিক্রম সেনগুপ্ত, born September 6, 1983) is an Indian film director, cinematographer, who worked both in Bengali cinema.
Life and career
He was born in Kolkata now in Mumbai. He directed Bengali film Asha Jaoar Majhe (English: Labour of Love) which was premiered at the 71st Venice International Film Festival on 4 September 2014, where it won the Best Debut Director in the Venice Days. At the 62nd National Film Awards, it won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director and Best Audiography.
His wife's name is Jonaki Bhattacharya.
