The 2017 BWF World Championships of badminton will be held August 21–27 at Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.[1][2][3]
The event will be held in Glasgow's Emirates Arena, which can hold 6,000 spectators.[3] When Glasgow hosted the event in 1997 it was held at the Scotstoun Centre.

It will be the second time that Glasgow has hosted the World Championships, having staged it at Scotstoun Centre in 1997, when Høyer won a bronze medal in the men's singles.
