The 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Women's Championship or simply known as the 2009 EuroBasket Under-18 for Women, was the 26th edition of the Under-18 European Championships. This tournament was hosted by Sweden for the first time in the history of the championships. The tournament was awarded to Spain for the 3rd time after defeating the France in the final, 64-54. The hosts, Sweden, respectively clinched the bronze medal after beating Czech Republic, 67-54.

Format
- 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each.
- Top 3 teams of each group will advance to the second round, while the last team will be relegated to the 13th-16th place classification playoffs.
- In the second round, the top 3 teams from Groups A and B will form Group E, while the three teams who had the best record from Groups C and D shall form Group F.
- The top 4 teams from Groups E and F will advance to the final round while the bottom 2 teams will proceed to the 9th-12th place classification playoffs.
- Final Round
- Quarterfinal Round shall consist of 8 teams where the top 4 teams from Groups E and F qualified for the said round. Winners advance to the semifinals, losers will be relegated to the 5th-8th place classification playoffs.
- Semifinals: it consists of four teams who wins their respective quarterfinal matches. Winners advance to the Final, losers battle for the bronze.
- Final: 2 teams will contest in this battle for the championship and the gold medal allotted. Winner wins the Gold, loser wins Silver.
