The 1882 Scottish Cup Final was played on 1 April 1882[1] at the original Cathkin Park ground in Glasgow and was the final of the 9th Scottish Cup. The final was contested by Queen's Park and Dumbarton in a replay, after the first match had ended 2-2.
Queen's Park had reached the final 5 times and won on all of those occasions, Dumbarton had reached the final only 1 time. The two sides had met in the previous years Scottish Cup final.
