12th Alberta Legislature
The 12th Alberta Legislative Assembly lasted from 1952 to 1955. The Social Credit government led by Premier Ernest Manning won a 5th term in office with a massive majority. The official opposition was formed by the Liberals and the rest of the opposition was divided between the Conservatives, Co-operative Commonwealth and Independents.
